New Features
EOS Build
Load Balancing - Dynamic Scan Fields
Dynamic Scan Fields is a new overlap strategy for multi-head metal systems that dynamically adjusts the size of the scan fields for all lasers, ensuring that each laser performs approximately the same amount of work per layer. In many cases, both the computation time and the resulting build rate of this strategy outperform existing approaches. Dynamic Scan Fields can also be used on systems without full field overlap, such as the EOS M 400-4, which previously did not support automatic load balancing.
Thickness Dependent Energy (TDE)
The new Thickness Dependent Energy (TDE) feature significantly improves downskin surface quality by smoothly adjusting energy input based on the volume beneath each layer. It eliminates discrete exposure zone transitions, directing energy only where it can be effectively absorbed. This enhancement is achieved without increasing build time, as the exposure pattern remains unchanged - only the laser power is finely tuned.
EOS Hub for the Big Screen
Andon Boards for Production Insights
Stay on top of your manufacturing performance with the new Andon App, now fully integrated into EOS Hub. Designed for factory dashboards and large screens, the app delivers a clear, real-time overview of your most important KPIs and machine data - ideal for fast decision-making on the shop floor.
With customizable views and secure access even without manual login, the Andon App offers flexibility and transparency tailored to your production needs.
EOS Hub: API Access to Timeseries Data of the Fleet
The API has been updated to provide access to virtually all time series data generated by machine sensors. This enhancement allows users to retrieve data from individual machines or across multiple systems, enabling direct comparisons and deeper analysis.
EOSPRINT SDK - Parameter API
The Parameter API is now fully integrated into the EOSPRINT SDK. It enables direct reading and writing of build parameters from the material set. Additionally, exposure steps are available for targeted adjustments. Using the EOSPRINT API, exposure parameters can be efficiently queried and modified - providing maximum flexibility in process development.
New Features
EOS Smart Monitoring
Smart Fusion - Additional Parameterization
Smart Fusion - Additional Parameterization We have enhanced the parameterization of Smart Fusion to further improve build quality and consistency. By limiting laser corrections through a minimal correction factor, energy input is more evenly distributed across the part. This reduces areas with insufficient energy supply and effectively prevents weak material properties.
